Features
These versatile gauges are available in gear-action models suitable for top, centerline, or angle mounting, as well as lever-action models designed exclusively for centerline mounting. They are securely attached to tanks using Senior flanges featuring a 2 1/2-inch bolt circle [63.5 mm]. These flanges are firmly fastened in place with four #0040-00666 5⁄16 -24 x 3⁄4 bolts. To ensure effective sealing, typically included is a standard #0015-00462 spiral-wound Teflon gasket.
The accuracy of these gauges is contingent upon proper gauge sizing, with Senior dials maintaining an accuracy of +/-6%, while TwinSite® dials offer +/-10% accuracy. However, accuracy may vary depending on factors such as tank shape, levels, and alignment.
- Recommended Mounting-Screw Torque: 12 lb.-ft. [16,4 Mn]

6500 Series
Features
The 6500 Series Senior Gauges offer remarkable adaptability as they come in gear-action models suitable for top, centerline, or angle mounting. In addition, lever-action models are exclusively designed for centerline mounting.
While the standard float is nitrile rubber. To secure these gauges to tanks, they use a mating Senior flange featuring a 2 1⁄2 inch bolt circle [63.5mm], firmly attaching it with four 1⁄4″-28 x 9⁄16″ long bolts and including a Buna-N gasket for effective sealing.
Accuracy depends on proper gauge sizing, with Senior dials at ±6% accuracy and TwinSite® dials at ±10%, subject to variations due to tank shape, levels, and alignment.
- Temperature Range: -40°F to 158°F, -40°C to 70°C
- Humidity: Especially for marine applications, it’s important to focus on the exposed portions of the gauge, excluding the dial.
- Shock & Vibration: suitable for mobile applications.
- Power: 0.5 watts maximum for TwinSite® versions.
- Tank Pressure: Up to 25 PSIG [1,7 Bar].
- Approvals: These direct indicating gauges have UL listing for flammable liquids, and moreover, certain models hold UL recognition for marine service.
WARNING: Note that these gauges are not for filling applications, and accuracy estimates are percentages of the full scale for both series. Furthermore, temperature and various environmental factors can influence pressure ratings, requiring potential adjustments.
