Ranger Pumps versatile helical gear pumps offer a 3-inch pump model with removable flanges. The Series 22 larger size allows for pumping roughly 40 more gallons of product per minute than the Series 17 model. Generating up to 165 gallons per minute. The Series 22 can output plentiful volume without too much of an increase in overall size.

In this exceptionally large series 48, the 4-inch pump model caps out at an impressive 460 gallons per minute. Therefore, the 48 series stands as the optimal choice for those in need of extremely high volumes pumped in the fastest times available. PUMP FEATURES

Smooth-operating helical gears equip this pump, ensuring silent, efficient, and long-lasting service due to heat-treated ductile iron. The finely keyed and machined gears enable easy replacement by sliding on and off the main shaft, minimizing friction and vibration.

Extended life-wearing services are a key feature of this pump. Additionally, it offers options for high-lead bronze, iron, or carbon bearings. Moreover, four heavy-duty sleeve bearings support the pumping gears to extend the service life. Specially machined grooves in the bearings enable both circulation and lubrication. This results in lower bearing temperatures. Additionally, a special outboard drive shaft bearing absorbs thrust loads and provides support for external radius loads.

Precision ground shafts with induction bearings and packing surfaces on precision ground steel shafts are employed to extend pump life. For specific installations, hardened stainless steel shafts are also available.

Finally, the pump features rugged cast-iron castings. Quality castings, machined to high tolerances, are responsible for achieving maximum pumping efficiency. Large, hardened steel dowel pins are utilized to ensure the positive alignment of the faceplate case and backplate, further enhancing its performance and reliability.
