Instant starting fluid is formulated to deliver a highly combustible spray into an engine’s intake to assist ignition when starting — particularly useful in cold weather, low compression situations, or stuck/flooded engines. It ignites quickly and helps the engine fire on the first few cranks.
Spray a small amount into the air intake (or carburetor/throttle body) just prior to turning over the engine. The high-volatility fluid vaporizes and ignites easily, providing a combustible charge that aids the first engine cycles. Only short bursts (typically 1–3 s) are recommended per start attempt.
