Betts High Flow Emergency valves provide increased flow rates compared to 4-inch emergency valves. Valves feature Teflon encapsulated seals for compatibility with a wide range of products and a special lift mechanism for smooth operation. The body features aluminum construction with stainless steel trim. The shear section tested per TTMA RP84 and meets 49CFR178.345-8.

Additionally, air-operated valves are provided with an external air cylinder. This is to help prevent gasoline or other products from contaminating the air supply. A hard-coated aluminum air cylinder features a polished stainless steel shaft. Furthermore, these cylinders include a 1/8 inch NPT port for air connection and come with an installed fusible plug.
Moreover, these valves are available in Long-Radius and Short-Radius elbows. Select the Long-Radius for maximum flow or choose the Short-Radius when piping clearance is restricted.
